O Ano ta acabando e confesso que tenho feito pouquíssimas atualizações nesses últimos meses. O blog anda meio abandonado, e apesar de ter varias resenhas prontas e com tantas coisas novas e velhas pra compartilhar, ando em falta, mas tentarei aos poucos postar com mais frequência. Então vamos para mais uma resenha.
Em um ano de poucos bons e inspirados discos, ganhamos de natal um tributo à uma das melhores e mais influentes bandas do rock. Please, Please, Please – A tribute to The Smiths. É uma delicada homenagem as marcantes letras, e melodias dos Ingleses do Smiths. O álbum duplo é formado por bandas indie, indie mesmo! E que dão um toque sutil e particular a cada faixa. É delicioso ouvir "Panic","Stop Me If You Think You’ve Heard This One Before", "Last Night I Dream That Somebody Loved Me", e "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out", em versões tão intimistas. É um tributo digno e de qualidade, que só vem a nos confirmar a importância e influencia da banda para o nosso novo e velho bom Rock. É só ligar o som, apertar o Play, e simplemente viajar.
